In the past, people tend to turn a deaf ear to the daily routine of their own lives and of others. However, because of home quarantine during the COVID-19, a brand-new way of life started. Even though people were confined to their houses during the epidemic, they were provided with a great deal of time and energy for observation and reflection.

This observation lasts for one month. I am the observer, and one of my friends, a cat and myself are observed. At 8 o’clock every morning and every night, I would take photos on time to record the state of that moment. Then I would make records in form of calendar illustration. Thereinto, normal color represents daytime, and invert color stands for the night.
